Payment Policy

Payment for services rendered at Dr. Long, LLC is due at the time of the session. Payment is to be made by cash, check or credit card.

Insurance

Most people pay for the services rendered at Dr. Long, LLC at the time of service and then submit the receipt to their insurance company for reimbursement.

However, if you desire for us to bill your insurance company for our services, please follow these guidelines.

  • If you are using insurance, we recommend having your insurance card with you when you call. We also recommend that you contact your insurance company to determine if your insurance plan covers outpatient mental health care.
  • We are not in network with any insurance company except Medicare. However, we are an approved out-of-network provider with most insurance companies.
  • If you have managed care or employee assistance through your employer or a private policy, the office of Dr. Long, LLC will file your insurance with your consent. Sign the insurance information sheet if you wish us to file as a courtesy to you.
  • Co-payments must be made at the time of service. Deductible amounts are due at the time of service.

Missed Appointments

All counselees are seen on an appointment basis. Telephone the office in advance to schedule an appointment time. If an appointment cannot be kept, a 24-hour cancellation notice must be given otherwise you will be charged the session rate for the missed appointment time. Please note that if your appointment time is on Monday, a 48-hour cancellation notice must be given. This courtesy makes it possible to give the appointment time to another counselee.

Preparation for the Sessions

Each normally scheduled session is 45-50 minutes long. Please make every effort to be on time for your session so that we might maximize the use of the time. The 10-15 time between sessions enables the counselor to finish their paperwork from your session and then to prepare for their next counselee. Also, please complete filling out your check for payment prior to beginning the session. This will also enable us to use all of the available time for our counseling work. Thank you for your understanding.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
