Meditations on the Magnificat

lightstock_63894_small_jamesHow do you respond during times of crisis? How do you react when your plans are altered, and it seems as though everything is out of your control?

How did Mary respond to similar trials? She sang. Mary trusted. She praised…Mary worshiped.

Here is a message entitled “Meditations on the Magnificat.”

Blessings.

Merry Christmas

Christmas 2017 (small)

What amazes you? I guess even more specifically, what amazes you about Christmas?

As I read the Christmas narrative, in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, over and over, I find people were amazed and marveled at what was occurring in the birth of Jesus Christ.

Their marveling and their amazement often turned to worship. Majestic praise poured out of the people’s lives because of what God has done in coming near to us. Jesus is Immanuel, God with us.

I pray that this Christmas season there will be times of amazement and marveling in your life, but more importantly worship of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

May God richly bless you and yours this Christmas day.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Let us all sing with an army of angels, “Glory to God in the highest and peace among those with whom He is pleased!”
